Stain - I use General Finishes Water Based Dye Stains.  Please view the collection by visiting their website (link below).  My go-to colors are Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Light Brown, Vintage Cherry, Empire Red and Blue, but they do offer other colors you can choose.

Paint - You can give me a general idea of the color (with photos) or you can simply  pick one from any common paint supply store and I'll match it.  There may be an additional fee for this customization

This is the part that is really useful and specific to your needs - you can take a look at your jewelry collection (or whatever else your storage or display needs are) and let me know generally or specifically what you need the design to be able to handle (how detailed you want to get is up to you).  Most of my displays are created with a mixed capacity in mind (necklaces, bracelets, earrings).  However, some customers have more specific needs, so for example, some customers request a necklace-only design or ask me to add holders for rings.  

Many of my listings will specifically address wait time.  If anything is unclear, please ask me by sending a message via this contact page or via me Etsy shop.  If you have a deadline or specific date, please make sure to communicate that with me so that I can let you know if I can meet it or not.  This will always depend on the status of my waitlist.

I currently use two small D-Rings on the backs of all of my wall-hanging works.  I install them at the far edges of the piece to make it easier to reach when hanging and I install them with an outward angle so that when you hang it over the flat head nails, the piece is stable and non-shifting.  Your package includes 2 nails and a Hanging Guide (tape) to make it as easy as possible for you to get started using your display right out of the box.

I use durable shipping boxes.  The displays are wrapped in bubble wrap and then covered with biodegradable peanuts made of corn starch that are 100% dissolvable in water.  Inside your shipment you will receive a letter with mounting instructions with nails attached and there will be a Hanging Guide taped to the back of your piece.

At this time, my favorite choice for wood is birch plywood.  It is not only gorgeous as far as color (including stainability) and grain, but it comes in 4'x8' sheets that can accommodate my larger designs.  It is also very durable so that when I ship to distant locations, I have the peace of mind that it will arrive safely.  Birch is beautiful, durable and sustainable/eco-friendly.
